It has its own computer
Every agent gets a private Linux desktop with a real browser, a terminal, and files. It never touches your browser. Watch it work live, and take over when it needs a login.
Yo is a personal AI agent with a computer of its own. It runs on the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already pay for, works the task end to end, and checks with you before anything that matters.
Copy one line, paste it into Claude Code or Codex, and your agent installs Yo for you.
01Live demo
A working copy of the Yo app. It starts where you will: connect your model, then your first agent sets up its computer. After that, meet the crew. Replies are scripted, but the flow is the real one.
That's the whole loop. Download Yo →
02How it works
No account to make and no API key. Yo uses the plan you already pay for, then its first agent sets up its own computer.
Get Yo from GitHub and install it, or let your coding agent do it for you. The first time, your computer asks you to confirm it once (see the FAQ).
Claude with claude setup-token, or ChatGPT with a Codex sign-in. Yo walks you through it,
and spots a sign-in you already have.
Your first agent says “Let's set up my computer”: on this computer, or on a home server (advanced). It checks your computer and guides the installs. Cloud is coming soon.
Ask in plain words. Watch its screen and plan live, or go do something else and check back later.
03Why Yo
A chatbot hands you an answer. Yo works through the task and comes back when it's done or needs you.
Every agent gets a private Linux desktop with a real browser, a terminal, and files. It never touches your browser. Watch it work live, and take over when it needs a login.
Sign in with your Claude or ChatGPT subscription. No API keys, no second bill. Switch any agent any time.
Purchases, messages, and posts wait for your tap. Logins and 2FA codes always go through you.
Yo remembers how you like things done, and that memory belongs to you. Switch models and it's still the same agent.

08FAQ
Yo is $10, to support its ongoing development and updates. Payments open soon; until then you can download it right away. It runs on the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already pay for, so there's no model bill and no API key to manage.
Yo's builds aren't notarized by Apple, so macOS asks you to confirm it once. Open Yo and click Done on
the warning. Then open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to “Yo was blocked” and click
Open Anyway, then Open Anyway again and enter your Mac password. That's macOS 15 Sequoia and later; on
macOS 13 or 14 you can instead right-click Yo in Applications, choose Open, then Open again. Or skip
all that and run this once in Terminal:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Yo.app
After that it opens like any other app.
Yes. Yo keeps its saved login in your Mac's Keychain, under “Yo Safe Storage”. Each new version has a new signature, so macOS checks with you once after you update. Enter your Mac password and click Always Allow. Yo shows a short note while it waits.
Claude Pro or Max, connected with claude setup-token. Or ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business or
Enterprise, through a Codex sign-in just for Yo. Each agent picks its account and model, and you can
switch at any time.
On your computer, in a small virtual machine (free tools), or on an always-on PC at home if you're up for the advanced setup. Your first agent walks you through either one. A cloud option is coming soon.
No. Each agent works on its own computer, with its own browser. Access to your Mac's apps, like Calendar or Notes, is off by default and you turn it on one app at a time.
It stops and asks. Purchases, messages, and posts wait for an Approve tap. For logins and 2FA codes, you take over its screen, type them yourself, and hand control back.
Yo checks GitHub for new releases. When one is out, it tells you, and its Download button downloads the new version. Install it the same way; your agents and settings stay.
Yes, if its computer runs on a home server. Your laptop becomes a window into the agent wherever you are.
Give it the thing you've been putting off. It'll handle the follow-through.
